About the Artist

Gail Eads resides in southeastern Michigan. She is the mother of five children and six grandchildren as well as the wife of a wonderful man who has been very supportive of her artistic career. Through the persuasion of her husband, Gail left a job personalizing Christmas ornaments to open a gift shop called “The Country Life”. They work together at the shop which offers gifts, antiques, country and primitive décor and even custom artwork. Gail also teaches basic acrylic painting and lettering classes in her shop.

Gail is a self-taught artist inspired by nature, as she loves the outdoors. The time Gail spent personalizing ornaments helped her to perfect the beautiful lettering style which can be found in many of her paintings. The ability to express herself through her art gives her great joy and a sense of accomplishment. “God has given me the talent to express myself through art so, therefore, I try to give him the glory for it”.
